Cross Country Meet

Aaron went out for the Roosevelt cross country team this year, mostly as cross training for track.  He got down to a bit over 18:00 for a 5K.  The really fast guys are a bit under 16.

San Diego 2016!

The US Canoe and Kayak Sprint National championships were held on the Chula Vista reservoir just outside of San Diego this year.  Steve helped drive the club trailer (one way again) this year.  Aaron did well and as usual Steve got third in all his masters events and seems to be in a bit of a rut.

We ended up in a house in San Diego a short walk to the beach and were able to head over to the beach most days.

The first picture is on one of the trails that are around the race course venue.  If you look very closely you can see a rattlesnake camped underneath the pipe.
